“CHARLOTTE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST! SO GLAD WE CHOSE HER FOR OUR SPECIAL DAY. SHE MADE EVERYTHING SO EASY AND WE DIDN’T EVEN REALISE SHE WAS THERE!!! HONESTLY, WE LOVE THE PHOTOS AND I LOOK AT THEM ALL THE TIME. OUR GUESTS THOUGHT SHE WAS BRILLIANT TOO AND STILL TALK ABOUT HER TO THIS DAY!”
Jade and Callum got married in last summer at the gorgeous Gorcott Hall. It was such a relaxed, happy day and the sun even made an appearance!!
Gorcott Hall is a stunning 16th century grade II* listed Tudor hall venue venue in Warwickshire. I love shooting Gorcott Hall weddings because the building is brilliant. and they also have 5 stunning acres of grounds which is great as photo locations. It was a pinks and petals themed wedding with hints of metallics wedding, which was really elegant and suited the rustic venue. AND THE FLOWERS!!! ???? The Lanes absolutely knocked it out of the park with their contemporary boho twist to classic traditional elegant designs. Jades bouquet was just so pretty and full of texture. Also the flowers came with name labels attached, which was a super cute personal touch.
Jade got ready in the Bridal suite on site with her mum and all of her maids, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. Jade had 7 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls, I love when my couples have a big squad as it’s always so much fun. Her hair was done by her sister in law and one of Jade’s friends did her make up, SHE LOOKED STUNNING!! The lace on her dress was so pretty and of course she had a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo’s. Once ready the girls then ran across the court yard, trying their best to avoid the rain to get to the ceremony.
The ceremony was a beautiful service in the 19th century barn next to the hall. It was such a romantic setting, full of character with exposed beams and tonnes of fairy lights which are always a firm favourite of mine. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so emotional and really sweet. Everybody then headed across to the main house, brollies in hand for drinks and canapés.
Callum and Jade had lawn games in the afternoon, and a candy floss machine in the evening. Luckily the sun came out during the drinks reception just in time for some quick group photos. Gorcott Hall doesn’t allow confetti so instead the couple opted to provide their guests with bubbles instead, which I thought was really unique and super effective from photos and film.
I honestly loved the whole day and the was so many great moments from everybody running for their life from the rain to possibly the one of best dance floors from the whole of last year. There was some seriously bad but hilarious moves going on. However the most memorable part of the day was the speeches, because they were all so different but great in their own way. Jade’s dad started things off with some really cute pictures of her as a child, Callum had everyone in tears and then Callum’s bestman who is also his brother absolutely NAILED his. Possibly the best speech I’ve ever seen and as you can imagine I see a lot! Jade loves Disney so he sang the whole speech to the tunes of her favourite Disney films. Not only could Callum’s brother sing really well but it was also extremely funny. Then after dinner Jade’s besties surprised Callum with their own cute mini speech.
Jade and Callum are just the loveliest people and their wedding was just the happiest occasion and such a laugh. Here’s their wonderful wedding!
