Do you use a second shooter?
+ Yes, I always shoot with a second shooter so you have a greater variation and additional perspective in your pictures.
Do you offer a mid week discount?
+ If you are getting married Monday – Thursday I can offer you a sneaky 10% discount.
How much is there a booking fee?
+ A £300 booking fee is needed at the time of booking to secure your date.
Who owns the copyright?
+ You will get a personal use license with your images that allows you to print, share and make your own own albums with. However I retain the copyright of the images and do ask if I can use them for advertising purposes such as on my Instagram account.
If we book, when is the final balance due?
+ The final balance is always due on the first day of the month before your wedding. For example if you are getting married in June your final balance would be due on the 1st May.
How long does it take for us to receive our photos ?
+ Turn around is usually 4-6 weeks and I will always send you a sneak peak the day after your wedding. You will receive an online album and your images on USB.
Do you make albums?
+ I strongly believe in getting your photos printed. There’s just something so special about having physical copies your memories. I’m currently working on a new range of bad ass albums that will be available from early 2019.
We love your films, can we go some more info?
+ You sure can! Check out my ‘Why you need a wedding film’ blog post by clicking here.
You do group shots right?
+ Of course I do! I know some photographers try their best to avoid them and insist they are just for your parents but I’m really family orientated and know if it was me, I would be gutted if I don’t have at least a couple with my crazy family. That being said they are time consuming so will advise making a list beforehand and getting a couple of ushers to help organise them.
You photoshop the images right?
+ I colour correct my images, I do not photoshop any of my pictures, my style of photography is honest. I aim to capture the real YOU in my photos so I won’t change or alter your appearance.
Can you advise us on timings? Or tips on lighting?
+ I’m currently making my way through a series of handy hints and tips about wedding planning, that people don’t usually think about but hopefully you will find helpful. check them out here.
How quick do you usually get booked up?
+ It’s fluctuates a lot, when my couples generally book me, I’ve been booked anywhere between 2 years and 2 months before weddings. If you are wondering if I’m available for your date, just drop me a message through my contact form.
Engagement shoots, do you do them?
+ I do indeed! It’s a great way for s to have a run through and get to know each other a little bit more before the big day. You get to see how I work and hopefully we can settle any nerves you may have about having your photo taken. Engagement shoots are £150 in and around Birmingham.
Do you visit the venue before the day?
+ This isn’t something I tend to do as I like to be inspired in the moment and by lighting scenarios. I always aim to turn up to the venue with plenty of time to have a nosey around beforehand.
Can I send you a Pinterest board of pictures that I’d like?
+ You could but I find my pictures are best when they are spontaneous and candid. Copying someone else’s pictures is nearly impossible to do and stumps any photographers creativity.
We still have a few more questions can we arrange a meeting?
+ We sure can! I love getting to know my couples before their big day and always like to met up before booking my couples so we can both check that we gel. Cant get to Birmingham? No problem, we can always FaceTime.
How do we book you?
+ Let’s just start by saying you are f*cking awesome. Just fill in the contact form on my website or drop me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a meeting.
