Jess and Adam got married at Stratford Park last year, which is a golf club and hotel in Warwickshire with a really cute and cozy Barn. It was such a happy day and such an honour to shoot as the couple and their friends and family were just so lovely.
I was so chuffed when the couple got in touch with me, their enquiry was really touching as I had previously photographed Jess’s sisters wedding. They said they loved Lauren & Stevens photos, which is always nice and I loved that they described wanting their wedding to be a huge celebration with their family and friends.
Adam and Jess’s whole wedding was so sleek and stylish, talk about winter style goals! They had paid so much attention to detail and the styling was really beautiful. I loved the cute signs they had dotted around the barn including ones that read “We have waited 3815 days for this, party accordingly” and “Do-not mind if I do” on they donut table provided by Steamhouse Bakery. They made a DIY Photo Booth and the couple even made all the adorable stars on the tables. The foliage and flowers, were all in a monochrome colour scheme of green and white, that were arranged by their family friend, Sarah & her husband Ross which was super sweet.
Jess looked stunning in her gown which had possibly the most gorgeous back I’ve ever seen and Adam wore a dapper tuxedo. They both got ready at Stratford park, Adam was with his best man and were shot by my lovely friend Danni who was second shooting for me. I was with Jess was with her mother, sister Lauren and her glam squad, Adam’s cousins Sophie and Isobel who were on hair and make up duties.
The ceremony was a legal ceremony in the rustic barn. During the ceremony they had two beautiful readings from Adam’s sister Emily and Jess’s brother in law Steven. It was short and sweet but still gave me all the feels.
The reception was also in the barn at Stratford Park which was cosy and relaxed. The couple had drinks and canapés in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening called the Beat Roots, who are a 3-piece band that really got the dance floor going and who also played a piano session through the wedding breakfast. The speeches were a lovely mix of being emotional and then bloody hilarious, even I was crying with laughter. Adam and Jess then finished off the evening with a few nighttime pictures, a Pizza truck and a banging party.
Both me and Danni had such a lovely day, everybody was so welcoming and Adam & Jess are truly the most lovely couple. Thanks so much Danni for seconding and always being my rock.
