I’m so excited to share this quirky, artsy, Custard Factory wedding with you. I was super lucky to shoot Tara and Patch’s wedding at The Old Library in my hometown Birmingham. I had briefly met Tara at Uni as both were on the same MA Fine Art course and I harassed her until she sold me a small CCTV she had. I then met Patch when I shot their engagement photos, they were both so easy to shoot and we had a right giggle checking out the colourful graffiti around Digbeth in Birmingham. Needless to say I was really looking forward to being a part of their day. And what a day it was, filled with joy, colour and the cutest origami.
Seriously I’ve never seen so many gorgeous details that were mainly made by the pair and inspired by the places they have traveled around the world together. Since Tara has opened a lovely little Esty shop called The Heirbloom Design Co, where you can buy bespoke origami floral arrangements!
Their DIY wedding truly suited their style and personality as a couple perfectly. It was bloody awesome.
A HUGE thanks to Hannah at Lifeline Photography for second shooting & just generally being amazing. Scroll to the bottom to see their wedding film.
>> WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY ABOUT ME <<
“Eeee! We had the absolute best time looking through our photos, they are truly joyous and we laughed and smiled so much looking through at the little moments and intricacies of our day including the funny and delightful moments we missed ourselves! Thank you so much to you and Hannah for being the most professional, most fun, hands on and bad ass ladies for the job, we couldn’t be happier with how the photos and video turned out, they are perfect and well executed as ever! We will cherish our photos forever and recommend you to everyone !!”
