What a year its been! I started off the year traveling around the Thai Islands, found myself in New Zealand in what turned out to be the most magical month of my life and then I headed to Brisbane to visit my favourite Australian family the Walkers. So by the time I landed back in the UK, it’s safe to say I was exhausted. But there’s no rest for the wicked and I was plummeted straight into wedding season and what a season it has been.
I still find it mad that so many couples trust me to capture the fun, love and laughter of their wedding days. This year has seen me shooting so many amazing couples who’s weddings have been and unique as they are. There’s been Mermaids, Morris Dancers, Jazz Bands and of course plenty of Tequila and I had the chance to visit some of my favourite Venues – Shustoke Farm Barn, Pendrell Hall and the Custard Factory. I also got to check out some I hadn’t been to before but quickly fell in love with such as Cripps Stone Barn, Birtsmorton Court and I even shot a wedding on Bournemouth Pier.
Personally, pulling together a yearly round up gives me a chance to reflex on the work I have produced this year and see just how much it has developed. I’ve grown as a photographer and I’m lucky to have shoot a lot more highlight films which I love producing.
I’d like to say a huge thanks to everyone who’s booked me, I’m so grateful to all of you guys. It’s been an exhausting but an absolute blast. I’m so lucky to have captured so many special moments and to had worked with such bad ass guys and gals. Heres to hoping 2018 is just as rad.
